New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Taking a dig at the opposition minutes before the Budget session of parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said there has been no attempt of foreign interference for the first time in ten years ahead of the session.

"Since 2014, this is the first parliamentary session that has not experienced any external interference. Over the years, I have observed that there has been no shortage of individuals willing to stir up trouble and escalate issues," the prime minister said in his customary address to the media before the beginning of the Budget session.
