India, Jan. 4 -- Authorities on Saturday reopened the Mughal Road for limited vehicular movement, permitting only Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) to ply during a restricted time period amid prevailing winter conditions.
As per official traffic advisories, the high-altitude road will remain open exclusively for LMVs from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The decision was taken after an on-ground assessment of weather and road conditions, especially near the Peer Ki Gali stretch, which remains vulnerable to snowfall and icy surfaces during the winter season.
