India, Jan. 25 -- Prime Minister **Narendra Modi** on Sunday called upon industry and start-ups to focus on **quality-driven manufacturing** and make excellence the benchmark of Indian products, urging them to adopt a "zero defect" approach.



Addressing the nation in his **130th episode of Mann Ki Baat**, the Prime Minister said Indian products should become globally recognised for top quality. "Let us resolve to improve the quality of whatever we manufacture. Be it textiles, technology, electronics or even packaging, an Indian product should become synonymous with top quality," Modi said.
