India, Oct. 19 -- In a sweeping administrative move aimed at strengthening financial management and improving operational efficiency, the Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has issued a major reshuffle involving 208 Assistant Accounts Officers (AAOs) across various government departments, divisions, and treasuries.

The large-scale transfer and posting order, numbered 123-Acctts of 2025 and dated October 18, 2025, was issued by the Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries (DGAT), Finance Department. The move follows the recent promotion of several Accountants as AAOs under Order No. 122-Acctts of 2025.
