India, Feb. 10 -- The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon on Tuesday following repeated sloganeering by opposition members who sought to raise various issues in the House.
The disruption began soon after the proceedings commenced with the Question Hour, as opposition MPs raised slogans demanding that the Chair allow them to speak.
Despite Samajwadi Party member Iqra Choudhary raising a question, the minister's response could not be heard due to the continued din. With the situation remaining unruly, P C Mohan, who was presiding over the House, adjourned the proceedings till noon.
