Jammu Tawi, Feb. 4 -- A fresh spell of light to moderate snowfall is expected across higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, with light snowfall likely in the plains and South Kashmir, according to weather forecasts.

News agency reported that in Jammu, light rainfall is predicted in the plains, while Chenab Valley is likely to receive light snowfall. The higher reaches of Central and North Kashmir are also expected to witness light snowfall, with the plains seeing a mix of light snowfall and rain.

The weather is expected to improve after tomorrow afternoon and remain dry until the night of February 9. However, another spell of snowfall and light rainfall is likely between February 9 and 10.
