India, July 15 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident that occurred in the Ponda area of Doda district.

In a condolence message, the LG said, "Pained by the loss of lives due to the tragic road accident in Doda. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Praying for a speedy recovery of the injured."

The accident, which took place earlier in the day, claimed multiple lives and left several others injured. The administration has launched relief and rescue efforts at the site.
