Jammu, June 19 -- NEW DELHI, June 19 - An IndiGo flight bound for Leh was forced to return to Delhi on Thursday morning due to a technical issue, according to an aviation source.

Flight 6E2006, operated by an Airbus A320, turned back after being airborne for over two hours. Data from flight tracking website Flightradar24.com confirmed the aircraft's return route to the national capital.

The exact nature of the technical problem has not been disclosed, but the source confirmed that the aircraft landed safely in Delhi. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew.

The airline has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
