Kota, May 26 -- An 18-year-old NEET aspirant from Jammu and Kashmir allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling fan of her paying guest room here at Pratap Chouraha in Kota, police on Monday said. This marks the 15th student suicide in Kota this year and the second in May alone.
The deceased, identified as Zeeshan, reportedly called a relative before taking the step and indicated her intentions. The relative, Burhan, immediately contacted another student, Mamta, living in the same building. Mamta rushed to Zeeshan's room, which was locked from inside, and called for help.
