Jammu, July 7 -- Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Passia, a US-based Khalistani terrorist wanted for over a dozen attacks in Punjab, is being extradited to India, sources confirmed on Monday.

Singh was arrested in the US on April 18 by the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He has been in ICE custody since his arrest.

Accused of links with Pakistan's ISI and Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), Singh is believed to be behind at least 16 terror incidents, including grenade attacks on police stations in both India and the US.

FBI Director Kash Patel stated on X that Singh was part of an alleged foreign terrorist network and assured that "justice will be done." The FBI coordinated with Indian agencies during the investigation.
