Srinagar, Jan. 10 -- People across cross section of society in Kashmir on Friday termed the Supreme Court announcement on restoration of Internet services in the Valley, a welcome move and hoped that they will soon log on from their computers and mobile phones into the world of internet.

According to wire service, on Friday, the Supreme Court of India said that the internet access is part of the fundamental right to freedom of speech, and asked the Jammu and Kashmir administration to review within one week all restrictive orders in place since the government ended special status to the former state in August.
