Jammu Tawi, March 17 -- In a remarkable milestone, Jammu Power Distribution Company Ltd (JPDCL) has successfully completed 1500 rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. This initiative, aimed at promoting solar energy, provides free electricity to eligible households while encouraging sustainable energy practices across India.

Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana aims to install solar panels in one crore households nationwide.
