Jammu Tawi, Feb. 23 -- In an initiative aimed at nurturing youth talent, the Department of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports (YS&S)on Sunday kicked off a 10-day Skiing training course in the picturesque Gurez valley of north Kashmir's Bandipora district.

The 10-day training course was inaugurated on Sunday at Darthani Nallah Badwan Gurez by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gurez and the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Gurez, marking the beginning of an exciting initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and promoting winter sports in the area.

Under the guidance of the Director General of Youth Services & Sports (YS&S), the course will see the participation of 50 enthusiastic boys and girls.
