India, Aug. 21 -- Amid the cloudbursts, flash floods, and heavy rainfall, Jammu & Kashmir has recorded normal precipitation in the last 81 days. As against the normal rainfall of 398.9 mm, the region has received 397.8 mm during this period.
The data prepared by the Meteorological Department (MeT) revealed that the region has recorded only a 5 per cent deficit in rainfall from June 1, 2025, to August 20, 2025.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, along with eight stations, including Baramulla, Doda, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, and Ramban, has recorded normal precipitation in the last 81 days, the data reveals.
