Srinagar, April 3 -- Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, on Wednesday revealed that Jammu and Kashmir had reported a total export value of Rs 42.12 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24 in software, IT-enabled services, and automobile sectors.
Speaking in the Parliament, Prasada said that the data pertained to software, IT-enabled services, and automobile exports from the region for the fiscal year 2023-24. "For Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) registered units, Jammu & Kashmir reported a total export value of Rs.41.93 crore. This figure reflects the contribution of the state's growing IT sector to India's overall software export performance," he added.
