India, Feb. 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 201 registered civilian drones, while no drone has been registered in Ladakh so far, the Government of India informed Parliament on Thursday.
The information was shared in the Lok Sabha in response to a question raised by MP Smt Sajda Ahmed regarding the promotion and regulation of civilian drones in the country.
According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, a total of 38,475 drones have been issued Unique Identification Numbers (UIN) across the country till January 31, 2026, of which 201 belong to Jammu and Kashmir, while Ladakh reported zero registrations.
