India, Oct. 19 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has ordered the transfer of 50 accountants with immediate effect following their promotion from the post of Accounts Assistant.

The transfers have been issued under Order No. 111-Acctts of 2025, dated September 30, 2025.

The department's move aims to streamline administrative functioning and ensure efficient deployment of newly promoted staff across various offices.
