India, Feb. 4 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday said it is considering introducing a single-window, online system for registration and renewal of tourism-related establishments and for obtaining mandatory No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from multiple departments. In a written reply to a question by MLA Sheikh Ahsan Ahmed Pardesi, the Tourism Department said that stakeholders in the tourism sector including hoteliers, houseboat owners, shikarawallas, travel operators and allied service providers are required to obtain registration or renewal of licences under the J&K Registration of Tourist Trade Act.
