Jammu Tawi, March 26 -- Srinagar's iconic Tulip Garden, nestled in the foothills of the Zabarwan range overlooking Dal Lake, was officially opened to visitors on Wednesday.
The garden was thrown open by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, marking the beginning of a vibrant floral spectacle.
"Delighted to throw open Asia's largest #TulipGarden in Srinagar today," the Chief Minister's office posted on X.
Abdullah was accompanied by Minister Javid Dar, advisor to CM Nasir Wani and some legislators from Srinagar
The garden boasts a breathtaking display of over 1.7 million tulips in 74 exquisite varieties, creating a mesmerizing flower carpet.
