Jammu Tawi, Feb. 24 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police paid rich tributes to the late Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Aman Kumar Thakur who laid down his life in the line of duty on this day in 2019.

DySP Aman Thakur laid down his life in the line of duty during an anti-terrorist operation in Turigam Kulgam district of south Kashmir on February 24, 2019.

On the occasion, the commemoration parade was held at District Police Lines Bandipora, and floral wreaths were laid at the Martyrs memorial as a mark of respect for his supreme sacrifice and for safeguarding the integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
