Jammu Tawi, Feb. 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday inaugurated a helicopter service for heli-skiers and a Safri service for tourists eager to explore the high peaks of Gulmarg.

Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said the helicopter service would significantly boost tourism in Gulmarg of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Many skiers prefer heli-skiing, even when their favorite locations are accessible, but they often face challenges due to the lack of transport to the high-altitude starting points. This new service will address that issue and enhance their experience," Omar said.
