Jammu Tawi, July 11 -- In a move aimed at boosting financial transparency and compliance, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has mandated that all suppliers and contractors participating in the e-tendering process must disclose their GST-linked bank account details during bid submission.

According to a government circular, departments must ensure that payments are made only to the bank account associated with the GST number of the successful bidder. This new requirement is part of efforts to curb revenue leakage and enforce strict adherence to GST regulations.
