JAMMU, Aug. 30 -- Following the disruption of water supply in several areas due to recent flash floods, the Government has designated area-wise officers to ensure availability of drinking water to the public.

A Government order said while restoration works are underway on priority, temporary arrangements have been put in place, and citizens have been advised to contact the concerned officer for their urgent drinking water needs.
