Jammu Tawi, Feb. 15 -- Srinagar, Feb 15: Police have arrested five persons for causing public disturbance in Kadi Kadal area of downtown Srinagar on Saturday.



A case in this regard has been registered in the Police Station Nowhata vide FIR No. 08/2025 under section 194 BNS, after five individuals were found engaged in a fight at Kadi Kadal, Srinagar, causing public disturbance, Police said.



The arrested individuals have been identified as Moieed Baba a resident of Firdous Colony, Eidgah, Farhan Shah of Gojwara, Junaid Shahnawaz of Gojwara, Moien Manzoor Kak of Kak Mohalla and Shahid Mukhtar of Shampora.



Further investigation into the incident is going on, police said.
