Jammu Tawi, March 23 -- A tragic road accident in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir claimed the lives of four people and left 17 others injured on Sunday morning, officials said.
The collision occurred near a CRPF camp at Gund when a passenger bus and a taxi, carrying tourists, collided head-on. The crash caused severe damage to both vehicles, with the taxi suffering extensive damage.
According to officials, the four fatalities are believed to be tourists traveling in the taxi, which bore a Madhya Pradesh registration number. At least 21 people were injured in the incident, with four succumbing to their injuries.
