Srinagar, May 20 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said the Indian armed forces "operated like expert surgeons" during "Operation Sindoor," targeting terrorist camps with precise strikes, similar to how a surgeon removes infected part, ensuring minimal impact beyond the intended areas. He said the strikes brought down the operational network of the Pakistani army that supports terrorist activities.

Singh was speaking at the 25th anniversary function of Dr KNS Memorial Hospital (MayoMedicalCenter) inLucknow.
