Srinagar, May 15 -- India and Pakistan have agreed to continue confidence building measures (CBMs), including the ceasefire pact reached between the two nations on May 10, officials said on Thursday.

The Indian Army, in a statement issued today, said that that further to the understanding between the two DGMOs on 10th of May 2025, it has been decided to continue the confidence building measures so as to reduce the alertness level.

It added that as situation develops further, details shall be shared accordingly.

Both countries announced a ceasefire pact along the Line of Control and the International Border after the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of two sides spoke to each other over hotline on May 10.
