SRINAGAR, June 26 -- In what could contribute to the further development of Information Technology and related fields in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu, has initiated the process to establish Innovation and Future Technology Enabled Services Park.
This was revealed during a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo at Civil Secretariat here.
IIT Jammu mooted the idea of the Park that could serve as a single point location for technology and scientific research eco system. The Institute is in talks with the government of Jammu and Kashmir to work out the modalities.
The proposed Park will come up near IIT Jammu on the 200 acres of land already allotted to IIT Jammu.
