Jammu Tawi, March 25 -- Anti-terrorist operation at Sanyal village near the International Border in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district entered its second day on Monday.
The operation, according to the news agency launched by a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army's Rising Star Corps, and other security forces, was initiated on March 23 (Sunday) following inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat arrived at the encounter site on Monday evening to personally supervise the operation. He was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (Jammu) Bhim Sen Tuti.
