India, Feb. 16 -- Uttar Pradesh Police have registered an FIR against 18 persons-eight named and 10 unidentified-on the complaint of a Gonda resident alleging his minor daughter was harassed by individuals associated with her private school.

According to police and the complaint, the Class IX student was allegedly stalked during her commute and sent objectionable messages on Instagram by Parvez Khan, a relative of the school manager. The messages were later marked "unsent," but the father alleged the harassment persisted despite objections.
