India, Jan. 23 -- In a solemn ceremony at the technical airport here, senior military and police officials paid homage to 10 Army soldiers who lost their lives in a road accident in Doda district on Thursday.

The wreath-laying ceremony was led by Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps and it was attended by Air Commodore A. Shridhar, Air Officer Commanding of the Jammu Air Force Station and Bhim Sen Tuti, Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Jammu zone. They were joined by fellow officers from the Army, Indian Air Force, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, and civil administration, underscoring the collective grief and respect for the slain soldiers.
