Srinagar, May 13 -- The flight operation resumed at the Srinagar Airport on Tuesday after a six-day halt, following a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan that eased regional tensions.
The flight operation resumed after the Aerodrome closure NOTAM (Notices to Airmen) was revoked.
Airport officials said that the first flight from Delhi landed at Srinagar at 1.30 PM.
"We are operating a total of eight flights, including both arrivals and departures," said Javed Anjum, Director of Srinagar Airport.
IndiGo and Air India have earlier cancelled their flights to and from Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, and three other border cities for today.
