Srinagar, April 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience a five-day wet spell starting Tuesday, the Meteorological Department said.
While the weather is expected to remain mainly dry across the Union Territory over the next 24 hours, the MeT has forecast isolated to scattered light rain and thunderstorms beginning tomorrow.
According to the MeT, Kashmir is likely to witness fairly widespread rainfall on April 9 and 10, while the Jammu region may see scattered showers from April 9 to 11. The wet spell is expected to continue across J&K till April 12.
Meanwhile, the minimum night temperatures have remained 2 to 5degC above normal in most parts of Kashmir and 3 to 5degC above normal across Jammu division.
