JAMMU, April 22 -- Finance Department today conveyed ceiling of Capex Budget including District Capex under Budget Estimate (BE) 2025-26 through BEAMS portal in favour of all departments and District Development Commissioners. All the District Development Commissioners have been asked to furnish District Plans in consultation with DDC members and MLAs by or before April 30, 2025. Further, it has been clearly mentioned that the timeline for completion of new works/activities taken up for execution during the financial year 2025-26, should be between one to two years. In rare cases of mega-projects, the department may extend timeline up to three years.
