Jammu, Feb. 22 -- After the horrendous Pulwama attack in 2019, in which scores of CAPF personnel were martyred, the changes made by the Home Ministry giving preference to security forces personnel to travel to certain segments across the country infested by terrorism by air with special fare have lately proven to be unproductive. This is primarily due to the privatization of the state-owned carrier, Air India, and the limited capacity of other carriers to accommodate the bravehearts to reach their places of posting. There is currently no provision for exclusive air travel arrangements through dedicated flights, giving tough times to the security forces personnel to secure a seat on existing flights.
