Jammu Tawi, Feb. 26 -- Sunil Dimple, president of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir, led a strong protest rally in Jammu today, demanding action to address rising unemployment and alleged discrimination in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh after the abrogation of Article 370. The rally, which took place on Amphalla Janipur High Court Road, saw leaders from all three regions of the former state joining in the call for the restoration of statehood.

Dimple criticized the government for its failure to address unemployment, claiming that the government has shown preferential treatment to Ladakh by raising the salaries of daily wagers there from Rs 29,000 to Rs 45,000 per month.
