Jammu Tawi, March 20 -- Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his estranged wife, Dhanashree Verma, were granted a divorce by mutual consent on Thursday by a family court in Bandra. The court allowed their joint petition after both parties complied with the consent terms.

Chahal's advocate, Nitin Gupta, confirmed the court's decision, stating that the divorce was finalized following the submission of their mutual petition. The couple, who married in December 2020, separated in June 2022. They filed for divorce by mutual consent in February 2023.
