Jammu, June 26 -- The Jammu Crime Branch on Thursday filed five charge-sheets against several accused for duping people of their hard-earned money on the pretext of arranging MBBS seats, visas and jobs.
The accused had duped people of an amount of over 35 lakh rupees.
The Crime Branch as per the handout, has produced challan against accused namely Alok Kumar of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Maneer Ahmed Bhat of Gandoh Bhalessa, Doda against whom FIR was registered and proved on the complaint of Dr Mumtaz Hussian Shah Bukhari from Surankote, Poonch wherein it was alleged that accused duped him of Rs. 12 lakhs for arranging two MBBS seats to his daughters in Batra Hospital Sidhra, Jammu.
