Jammu Tawi, March 21 -- As many as 47 highway projects spanning 810 km in J&K, costing Rs 41,735 crore, and six projects covering 159 km in Ladakh, costing Rs 2,076 crore, are currently under construction in both the Union Territories.
According to the data shared by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways J&K and Ladakh, are among the key regions benefiting from the government's highway expansion plan, which has seen country's national highway length grow from 91,287 km in 2014 to 1,46,204 km in 2025.
