India, Nov. 25 -- A single Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament from the Jammu region has asked four times more questions than all Kashmiri MPs combined.



According to PRS Legislative Research, a New Delhi-based non-profit organisation, BJP's Jammu MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, has asked 100 questions since his election from the Jammu Lok Sabha seat in 2024. In comparison, three MPs from the Kashmir region, including the Anantnag-Rajouri seat, who were simultaneously elected with Sharma in 2024, have together asked a total of 24 questions.
