Jammu Tawi, June 9 -- In a closely contested electoral battle, Arun Gupta was re-elected as President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), Jammu, for the term 2025-27. The bi-ennial elections were held today at the Chamber House, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, under the supervision of the Election Committee headed by Shiv Partap Gupta. Arun Gupta secured 1,461 votes, defeating his rival Rakesh Gupta, who garnered 1,290 votes.
Anil Gupta was elected as Senior Vice President with 1,603 votes, defeating Deepak Aggarwal, who secured 1,010 votes. Rajeev Gupta (Kaka) emerged as the Junior Vice President by polling 1,812 votes, while his opponent Sunil Gupta (Kodha) received 916 votes.
