Jammu Tawi, July 2 -- The Lieutenant Governor ofJammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday ordered the reopening of all cases that were deliberately closed to file First Information Reports (FIRs). Sinha was chairing a high-level meeting to review the condition of families who lost their loved ones in terrorist attacks.

"Chaired a high-level meeting today to discuss issues concerning victim families whose loved ones were brutally killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists," Sinha posted on X, adding that he ordered DCs and SSPs to reopen cases which were deliberately buried and file an FIR. He also directed them to ensure jobs are provided to NoKs on priority.
