Jammu Tawi, March 20 -- Minister for School Education and Higher Education, Sakeena Itoo, today informed the House that 594 posts of 10+2 Lecturers in 27 disciplines have been referred to the J&K Public Service Commission recently for recruitment to cope up with the constraints of subject specific teachers in higher secondary schools across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister stated this in reply to a question raised by Mehraj Malik.

She informed that 367 posts of lecturers in different disciplines are lying vacant in various Higher Secondary Schools of Doda district.
