Srinagar, Nov. 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the promotion of three Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKPS) officers to the rank of Superintendent of Police Selection Grade (II), according to Government Order No. 525-Home of 2025 issued on November 1.

As per the Home Department's order, the officers promoted to the Selection Grade [Level 12 (rs 78,800-2,09,200) of the Pay Matrix] are Mohd Yousuf (JKPS: 2001) - notionally from December 24, 2024, and regularly with immediate effect; Pardeep Singh (JKPS: 2008) - with immediate effect; and Brijesh Kumar Sharma (JKPS: 2008) - with immediate effect.
