Jammu Tawi, March 28 -- Two more groups affiliated with the Hurriyat in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday severed their ties with separatism, with Union Home minister Amit Shah terming it a "great news".
Amit Shah welcomed the decision of two more groups affiliated with the Hurriyat, namely J&K Tehreeq-i-Isteqlal and J&K Tehreek-i-Istiqamat, to discard their ties with separatism.
He said that the groups have reposed their trust in the new Bharat built by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "Under the Modi government, separatism is breathing its last, and the triumph of unity is echoing across Kashmir," he said.
