Jammu, May 13 -- The flight operations at theJammuairport and 31 others, mostly in northIndiaand western parts of the country, are set to resume soon.
The development follows a ceasefire after hostilities broke out betweenIndiaandPakistan.
"The air space is open and the airport is ready to handle the flight operations," SK Garg, Station Director,JammuAirport said.
Garg said, "We are ready and now it is up to the airlines how early they restore the flight operations."
According to the Airports Authority of India, the 32 airports that were temporarily closed are now available for civilian aircraft operations with immediate effect.
