NEW YORK, March 19 -- Popular American pancake house chain IHOP is coming to Pakistan to open its chain.

According to Bloomberg, the IHOP announced to open as many as 19 outlets in Pakistan in the coming years.

The first outlet of the International House of Pancakes, better known by the acronym IHOP, will be opened in Karachi by the end of 2019. The 18 other branches the chain is planning to set up will be opened across Pakistan within nine years.

The move to tap into the Pakistani market is a part of the American pancake restaurant's "efforts to seek new revenue abroad".
