Nigeria, July 31 -- Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has removed two commissioners from office as part of efforts to improve governance and service delivery.

The cabinet reshuffle was announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the governor's spokesperson, Dauda Iliya.

The affected officials are the Commissioner for Environment and the Commissioner for Intergovernmental and Special Duties. Governor Zulum thanked them for their service and wished them success in their future endeavors.

He also named Engr. Mohammed Habib and Ibrahim Hala Hassan are to take over their roles as new commissioners.
