Nigeria, Dec. 22 -- The Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Dr. Mohammed Goje, has announced that Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved a Christmas and New Year food support program for 8,000 vulnerable people across Yobe State. Dr. Goje explained in a statement from Damaturu that the seasonal package will include rice, vegetable oil, spaghetti, and semovita. The support will directly benefit 1,000 people and indirectly reach 7,000 others in vulnerable households across the state.
