Nigeria, July 11 -- Nollywood actress and activist Iyabo Ojo is facing serious threats to her life and safety following a fire incident at her office and a series of menacing messages aimed at her and her daughter, Priscilla Mkambala (nee Ojo).

A typed letter, delivered to Ojo's Lagos office on May 24, 2025, was made public this week by her daughter. The letter, signed by a group calling itself theAggrieved Group, contained direct threats against the actress and warned that her daughter would not enjoy her marriage. It also stated that the family would be closely monitored for the next three months.

On Tuesday, July 8, about six weeks after the letter was received, a fire gutted Ojo's office. No injuries were reported, but property loss...
